A book containing the full papers to be presented at the Conference will be given to all delegates. The cost will be included in the Conference fee. Extended versions of selected papers will be considered for publication in a special issue of the Journal of Construction Steel Research, an international peer-reviewed scientific journal published by Elsevier Science, with an impact factor of 0.700 in 2006, as referred by the Journal Citation Reports® 2007, published by Thomson Scientific. Full ten-page papers and extended abstracts will be due by February 29, 2008. Abstracts should be submitted in electronic form, in Microsoft Word and PDF (for control) attachment to the following electronic address: steelbridges08@cmm.pt

The papers should be written in English. Each paper should not exceed 10 pages, including text, figures and tables and the files should be identified with the reference 7ICSB_#, the initials and the last name of the corresponding main author (ex.: 7ICSB_SKid.doc). In case it is not possible to use electronic mail, the paper can also be sent in CD-ROM by the post. MSWord (.doc) and Portable Document Format (.pdf) formats are required.

The authors should respect the formatting rules presented in this template document. We suggest that you use this template, which is already formatted according to the rules.
